Women’s Grief Circle

In a time when so much feels like it’s falling apart, it’s more important than ever that we learn to grieve.

To feel what’s breaking open in us.
To honor what has been lost.
And to remember that grief is not the end of the story—it is the very place where new life begins.

This past year has been a brutal, beautiful initiation into grief: in my own life, in my family and friends, in the lives of clients, and in the larger world we all share.

Again and again, I’ve been reminded that grief requires a communal body to hold it.
We’re not meant to carry it alone.
We can’t.

Some grief is fresh and sharp, some is old and hidden, some belongs to our lineage, and some rises from witnessing the suffering of a world we love. All of it asks to be felt. All of it belongs.

I’ve been feeling called to offer more spaces where we can gather, slow down, and meet our grief with presence and tenderness.

So…

…in January, I’ll be hosting a small women’s grief ritual—a guided, sacred, and somatic circle for honoring the pain and loss we carry.

We’ll breathe, move, sing, and share story.
We’ll witness one another.
We’ll let grief move the way it needs to move, so that it can soften, integrate, and make room for whatever new life is waiting to emerge.

This work is shaped by my background in Somatic Experiencing, yoga, and hypnosis, and by years of accompanying others through moments of transition, loss, and becoming.

I also want to acknowledge and express gratitude for the lineage of grief work that informs this offering, for the many indigenous communities who have stewarded this wisdom, for the writing of Francis Weller, and for my training with local grief ritual facilitator Josh Fox.

If you feel drawn, I would love to have you there.
You can reach out to me privately to register.

And if this kind of communal work interests you, please let me know—I hope to offer more spaces like this in the future.

May this new year find us grieving honestly, loving deeply, and trusting in the wisdom of a broken heart.
